Purmist is the flagship product of MKR International Inc., which is recognized by governing bodies, health regulators, front-line workers and corporations alike as a company dedicated to the development of innovative products to protecting consumers from harmful germs and bacteria.

Created over nine years ago by a horticulturalist in Erin, Ontario, Purmist was originally developed for firefighters to prevent chaffing and dryness caused by frequent hand washing.

Although Purmist's properties were known to be effective as a sanitizing agent, in June 2009 an accredited American laboratory determined it had the exceptional capacity to kill the H1N1 Influenza virus.

A variety of Purmist products is currently available at Mark's Work Wearhouse nationwide, and plans are in the works to offer Purmist in additional retailers and drug stores in the near future.

MKRII's mission is to help sustain health and safety in an ethical and eco-friendly way through the development of natural and effective products like Purmist.

One of the ways MKRII demonstrates its commitment to community wellness is by working in partnership with Hockey Canada and local women's and girls' hockey associations as an official supplier.

The company is also a proud supporter of front-line community workers.
