Purmist kills the H1N1 influenza virus
Independent test results show Purmist protects against the H1N1 virus, providing a major boost in preventing the spread of infection. The patented formula has been known to be effective as a sanitizing agent since it was first created nine years ago, but an accredited American laboratory determined in June 2009 that it had the exceptional capacity to kill the H1N1 Influenza virus. In fact, Purmist is reported to kill H1N1 on contact within 15 seconds.
Purmist uses natural essential oils, which are well known for their therapeutic benefits
The Purmist line includes three of the most popular and effective essential oils: Orange, Lemon and Lavender. Orange and Lemon help refresh and energize to boost mental clarity and alertness, while Lavender is beneficial for its calming and relaxing properties.
Purmist’s unique moisturizing benefits set it apart from other hand sanitizers that can make your skin dry and chapped
In fact, the more you use Purmist, the better your skin condition, leaving hands soft and healthier after you apply the mist. Purmist’s essential oils work with your skin’s own natural oils to protect against germs and continue moisturizing with each use. You never have to worry about sticky residue, greasy film, dry and cracked skin, or skin cell damage when you use Purmist!
Touch-to-touch contamination of germs is virtually eliminated when Purmist is applied to the hands or skin
The protective barrier guards against cross-contamination when shaking hands or touching contaminated objects. (Note that dirty hands can’t be helped by Purmist, therefore proper hand washing is essential so Purmist can be applied to clean skin. For continual protection, Purmist should be re-applied after every time you wash your hands, as washing not only removes your skin’s natural oils but also the essential oils in Purmist itself. While your skin’s natural oils will start to come back after proper hand washing, the Purmist formulation will not return on its own so a new application of the mist is necessary.)
Unlike some other hand sanitizers, there is no risk of illness or intoxication to children or infants if they lick their hands or put their hands into their mouth after applying Purmist
To further enhance the safety of our product, Purmist has a locking, non-removable mister so children cannot remove it and drink the formulation. Note that since the mister unit includes a small plastic cover, this should be recycled when the product is finished to ensure it’s not accidentally ingested by young children or infants. As with any health product, children under the age of five should be supervised when using Purmist.
Purmist’s innovative formulation is activated by applying the product to the hands
Purmist will be wet when applied for full coverage and the grain alcohol will evaporate within 10 seconds. Due to the alcohol delivery system for the natural essential oils, the formulation dries quickly on the hands, letting the essential oils be absorbed into the first layer of the skin for continual protection.
